Sandy has provided trust accounting support for The Foundation since the end of August in 1999. She confidentially maintains the accounts of The Foundation’s investment clients, gift annuitants, and charitable trust accounts. She is responsible for processing all transactions for these accounts and generating all reports on a trust processing software program, as well as
reconciling investment statements. She also communicates with The Foundation’s clients in person or via telephone, e-mail, or written reports.

Sandy’s strong organizational skills have been used over the last thirty years as the front counter person for a music store, as Office Manager and Accountant for a small printing company, and as a Teller and Customer Service Representative for a local bank.

Sandy’s educational background includes completion of four accounting courses at Harrisburg Area Community College, three finance-related courses through the American Institute of Banking, and a B.S. from Millersville University.

Sandy serves her local church as an Assisting Minister and as Financial Secretary. She coordinates the weekly offering counters and serves on the Finance Committee. She is very concerned with and active in social ministry work, both within her congregation and throughout the Harrisburg Area. She continues to sponsor work with young men from Sudan (also known as the “Lost Boys of Sudan”), is active with Christian Churches United, and collects resources for Harrisburg Uptown United Methodist Ministries and Allison Hill Medical Outreach. Sandy believes that God has given her the gift of finding a new home for things people no longer want among God’s children who need them.
