Biography:

Rev. Carol Gathagan - Retired United Methodist Pastor serving Asbury United Methodist Church in Altoona, PA

Rev. Carol began producing Faith Break Radio Ministry on October 27, 1997 on *Q94 - 94.3 FM, The Classic Rock Station in Altoona, Pa. Since then, we have added two more stations, MIX 94.7 FM and WKMC 1370AM. This allows adult listeners in over six counties to hear Faith Break twice a day, five days a week. Now in its thirteenth year, Faith Break and Rev. Carol transmit messages on behalf of the United Methodist Church, which remind all people, in all situations, that they are loved by God. What began as a vision has become a vital ministry for the people of the United Methodist Church in Central Pennsylvania.

Rev. Carol has a degree in Letters, Arts and Science from Penn State University and completed the Course of Study at Wesley Seminary in Washington, DC. After completing additional educational requirements through the Central PA Conference, she was ordained an Elder in 1999. She and her husband Boyd have four daughters and nine grandchildren.
